Top Cody Bellinger Rookie Cards and Key Prospect Cards
One of the brightest MLB stars, Cody Bellinger rookie cards are among the key options in the hobby with room to grow.
A fourth-round pick in 2013 by the Los Angeles Dodgers, the initial Cody Bellinger cards came that same season but the flood of options that some star prospects receive did not occur. Instead, many of the Cody Bellinger prospect cards from the first few years are part of team-issued minor league sets. Things started to pick up with his Bowman arrival in 2015, and ratcheted up further in 2016 and 2017 products.
Because his call-up came near the end of April (2017), Cody Bellinger rookie cards did not make the first batch of 2017 baseball products. However, plenty of choices followed, including 2017 Topps Update Series. Update Series also contains Bellinger autographs in addition to a base rookie.

While he was overshadowed somewhat by Aaron Judge, Bellinger enjoyed an impressive rookie season, earning an All-Star nod and the NL Rookie of the Year Award in 2017. Bellinger was also twice named NL Rookie of the Month (May and June). After a 2018 season that was derailed by injuries, Bellinger returned in 2019 with MVP-level production. In fact, he locked down the NL MVP Award that year.

2017 Topps Triple Threads Cody Bellinger Rookie Autograph #RA-CB #/99

Key Cody Bellinger Prospect Cards
2013 Panini Elite Extra Edition Cody Bellinger #158 Autograph #/673
Going back several years, the earliest Cody Bellinger card came in 2013 Elite Extra Edition with both signed and unsigned versions. Leading the way for collectors, the main on-card autograph is numbered to 673 copies. There are also several limited parallels including Green Ink (#/10) and Red Ink (#/25) options.
2015 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs Cody Bellinger #BCAP-CBE
Even though EEE has it beat by two years, there is no question about the best Cody Bellinger card to acquire. Found in 2015 Bowman Chrome, this Chrome Prospect Autograph tops the list. Doubling down, the hard-signed card is his first MLB-licensed release and his only pack-pulled card in 2015. The base autograph is not numbered but there are Refractor parallels that start at 499 copies and go all the way down to the one-of-one SuperFractor.
2016 Bowman Chrome Prospects Cody Bellinger #BCP-182
While his Bowman Chrome autograph came in 2015, collectors had to wait another season for a base BC version to arrive in 2016 Bowman Chrome. Also offering a rainbow of Refractor parallels, consider this the budget-friendly chromium alternative if you are priced out of the market for the signed 2015 card.
2017 Panini Diamond Kings Signatures Cody Bellinger #DKS-CB Auto Relic #/99
While one could argue this is a rookie signature, the 2017 Diamond Kings card released about a month before his MLB debut. Nevertheless, the low print run of just 99 copies, along with the artistic design, makes for an intriguing option despite the lack of MLB logos. The card showcases a sticker autograph and a pair of relic pieces.
2017 Donruss Promising Pros Cody Bellinger #PPMS-CB Auto Relic
More bland by comparison, 2017 Donruss is in a similar situation to Diamond Kings as it pre-dates his MLB start. The base autographed relic is not numbered but parallels include Gold (#/99) and Black patch (#/10).
