User Rating:

Given the tremendous success seen by the debut season of the on-demand MLB card set, it should come as no surprise that the popular program continues with a 2017 Topps Now Baseball checklist meant to chronicle almost everything notable from the year. Bringing key moments and events on (and off) the field to cardboard collectors in quick fashion, it appears the future of cards may truly be Now.

Mirroring the process established in 2016, the premise is quite simple with exclusive cards, sold during a limited sales period and printed to order. Because specific 2017 Topps Now Baseball print runs are revealed, collectors immediately know just how popular (or rare) each card is. Although most cards are sold individually with a static price point, a discount is applied for bulk purchases. In addition, many times there is a cheaper bundle that includes all the cards from a specific date.

Shop for 2017 Topps Now Baseball Cards on Topps.

While the main 2017 Topps Now Baseball checklist will command the most attention, it is not the earliest option for collectors in '17. Inserted as redemptions in 2017 Topps Series 1 Baseball, the very rare Topps Now Golden Tickets appeared first. The limited-edition stamped parallels cover the entire 2017 Topps Now Baseball set. Broken down by date, the redemptions come in Series 2 boxes, as well.

Next are the team releases via 2017 Topps Now Road to Opening Day. These 15-card sets document each MLB team and almost half offer autograph editions that add a random signed card along with the full base set. To celebrate the sets and the new year, Topps even sent out a free Mike Trout promo card.

the cards are supper and seeming are increasing in value. especially the Limited Print (LP) ones. Seems like cards under a 250 short print are possible with this set. I dig it.

I think these cards are pretty nice and some of them that have very low production numbers will probably be worth some money in the future. Hey Trey, do you have any production numbers on the Ian Happ OS – 11 card? See if you can dig up some info on that because your checklist does not go that far here. Thanks very much, Jim
