I got a chase it down Ryan Zimmerman without any lettering on the front of the card. Any idea how much it’s worth?

Not enough base to your cards

Do youknow if there are variations for the World Baseball Classic inserts? Just got a wbc #1 jose reyes but it shows him looking kinda towards the cam and has a glove. Pic you have there as a sample has reyes running.

Opened a box. Wasn’t too impressed. What are the case hits? Are there any?

Where’s the link to that coupon? I cant find it? Not that it matters, Pack Searchers have ravaged the packs anyways.

Opened a jumbo box last night.

Hits were a Skaggs Chasing History Auto, Jesus Montero silk /50 and Verlander Chasing History Relic Gold Parallel /99. As “bonuses,” I got a Gattis RC emerald and Gattis RC black /62. Also a Pujols gold base parallel. I’m not sure if the silk was supposed to count as the third hit, but I also got an Eddie Murray ROY manufactured relic. I don’t get the point of these cards. The proven mettle cards are cool. But this one was just stupid and apparently just about worthless.

Overall, I think because the black card was a Gattis RC, I’m okay with the box.

Sorry, The Pedro Martinez card came from Series 1, not series 2 redemption pull.

Couldnt care less about regular set. Bought 4 packs-hobby. Pulled redemption Pedro Martinez Autographed relic card. After 2 month wait-goy it today.
Card TGAR-PM 1/5. Relic is all Red Sox red uniform fabric patch and nice clear auto in blue sharpie on white.
Anyone guess the value ?

I originally bought the regular hobby boxes but after I splurged and did the jumbo on the next one I will always do jumbo boxes when I can. I usually get a complete base set with the jumbo box. I just pulled a Mike Trout Making The Mark auto/relic redemption in the last one this week. Sucks its a redemption after reading all the complaints but it is what it is. Waiting on three of them right now.
Any idea on the value of the Trout auto/relic?

Great for beginners. Not to much swag in the pulls I have had. Some beautiful cards in this set but I think I will stick to bowman and gypsy queen.

Upon further research it appears the shiny cards are silver foil inserts possibly. No big deal.

I was also able to build the set from a hobby box of jumbo packs, which was very nice.

I bought a retail jumbo pack and pulled two Jordan Zimmerman Chasing History CH-63 cards. However, one of them is shiny and the other is not. I also pulled a CH-58 Rickey Henderson that is shiny. I realize these are not going to be hit cards, but the fact that I can look at them side by side and see a very distinct difference between them makes me wonder. I haven’t seen anything referencing this difference that I am seeing.

4 Stars – I pulled a #50/99 Desert Camo Foil MikeTrout (#536 AL Defensive POY) from a Topps S2 retail pack. It has the Camo border, but NO FOIL. Just the regular white card w/camo border. Anyone seen this? Also, #568 Steve Lombardozzi receiving a Gatorade shower. Is this a SP?

I just busted one box of this stuff and I pulled a 1972 Mini Auto of Miguel Cabrera and about 2 packs later I pulled The Ultimate Chase Card of Ken Griffey Jr.!! Does anyone have ANY information on what that card would look like??

I bought 2 jumbo boxes and in both boxes I got an one of one! I pulled an cyan printing plate of Francisco Cervelli

Got a box of jumbos and was able to make a full set of Series 2. Pulled Salvador Perez Making Their Mark auto relic 14/25,Adam Jones SP, Verlander ROY, Fielder Relic and Black Iwakuma /62. Great for set builders!!! Nice not to have to buy multi boxes to do a set.

As a Cubs fan, this isn’t exactly a great lot. Luis Valbuena has been up on the major league squad for a season and a half at least (and was guaranteed to make the team barring some freak occurrence coming into spring training) and hasn’t been in Topps series 1 & 2, Topps Heritage, Bowman, or anything really. Ian Stewart, on the other hand, hasn’t played a single regular season game for the Cubs and isn’t likely to do so ever again. So naturally, he’s in this series 2 collection. As far as pitchers go, Alberto Cabrera hasn’t pitched above AA ball this season, but makes it into this series. While Carlos Villanueva, who started off the season on quite a hot streak, Hector Rondon, Kevin Gregg (who came on late, so it’s expected he wouldn’t make it into this series) or even Arodys Vizcaino (also understandable, he’s been injured) did not make the cut. Other positional players could have been: Cody Ransom, Scott Hairston, Dioner Navarro, Steve Clevenger, Ryan Sweeney.

It’s a fine set, I don’t mean to sound like this is something life or death, it’s just interesting that players that have actually been important to the team just seem to get left out (even from the team set), while a third Brett Jackson or Josh Vitters makes it, or Ian Stewart.

I pulled the third toughest hit of Series 2.Odds were 1:270,000 Jimmie Foxx cut auto 1/1.

The value of each set is a choice from collector to collector…if the value of the cards you get ,is less than what you pay for the product per box…its not wrth it to me…I would rather by a med or high end product ….because I know if I buy 5 boxes I will have good quality cards and at least 2 really nice patch or Autos…if anything I will wait for chrome to come out

Just brought my 1st “HTA” box today at my fav shop Collector’s Corner in beautiful downtown Sterling, Va. Pulled the following: Justin Verlander Chasing History relic, Eddie Murry 1977 ALROTY card, a Pink Emilio Bonifacio parallel #’d 27/50, a Silk Collection Marco Scutario #’d 16/50,…..and last but not least a Mike Schmidt ChasingHistory Auto Relic #’d 18/25!!!! Check out the pull odds on that you card crazies…1:1,667 HTA Jumbo Packs…Thank God no redemptions!

What is the difference between retail and hobby boxes?

Nice inexpensive cards; the inserts are very nice (esp The Elite set) and I pulled a Bryce Harper Base Variation SP Auto (#/5) out of my first pack (HTA Jumbo). Solid.

Are there going to be wrapper redemptions for this product, like series 1?

Kevin>>Topps base sets like Series 2 are meant to be one of the most affordable products on the market. You won’t be seeing Tribute or Museum Collection at Target for who would want to pay those prices for one pack? Plus, it would look bad for the hobby as well.

What’s the difference between topps series’s 1 and topps series 2

The cards are nice and a good checklist of players

Will wait until prices drop. These cards don’t ever seem to be worth the cardboard they are printed on.
