User Rating:

Funko Pop Robin features The Boy Wonder throughout his (in)famous career. Since his 1940 appearance in Detective Comics issue #38 as Dick Grayson, only a handful of people have assumed the identity of Robin. However, the acrobat has received various costume changes making him the perfect candidate for stylized figures.

Because Batman occupies the top spot in the DC Super Heroes/DC Universe line, his sidekick naturally is #02 in the order. Not only did the dynamic duo have contrasting personality traits, their superhero suits did as well. Perfectly replicating the primary colored costume, Funko Pop Robin offers several options including a metallic chase variant. The Target exclusives—main and metallic chase—are a rare find as the figures are labeled as a "bobble-head" as opposed to traditional vinyl figures.

Moving to the television representation, the Funko Pop Batman 1966 Classic TV series includes the eccentric character with a couple of simple changes in appearance from the initial release. A brown-haired Robin stands without tights, opting for notorious green undergarment outerwear, and his yellow cape draped below the neck. Continuing the green, yellow and red color scheme, the Batman: The Animated Series vinyl is noticeably younger as he stands straight opposed to the previous options bent at the knee.

Generally thought of as a secondary hero, Robin finally receives recognition for his leadership skills in Cartoon Network's Teen Titans Go!. Unlike his older self, he is usually the serious one of the group, which is reflected by Robin's slightly darker hero disguise.
