2008 SPx Baseball Autograph Redemption Checklist
On Tuesday evening Upper Deck announced the final two players in the 2008 SPx Baseball Mystery Autograph Redemption Program. Arizona Diamondbacks Pitcher Max Scherzer and Chicago White Sox Rookie Phenom Alexei Ramirez are the final two players to be included in the 2008 SPx Baseball Mystery Autograph Redemption Program, out of a total of seven.
During his 2008 Rookie Campaign, Max Scherer posted an impressive 3.05 ERA and 66 Srike Outs in 56 Innings of work. In his first MLB appearance he threw 4 1/3 perfect innings and set a new league record for the most consecutive batters retired (13) in a MLB debut. Scherzer will be card #150 in the set or “RR5" for the redemption.
Alexei Ramirez roze up from relative obscurity to become a legitimate Rookie of The Year Contender that helped guide the White Soxs to the playoffs down the stretch. His impressive display of hitting power and speed led to him being nicknamed "The Cuban Missile". The talented second baseman hit .290 this season with 21 home runs, 77 RBI's, and 13 stolen bases in 480 At Bats. Ramirez will be card #152 in the set or “RR7" for the redemption.
The completed checklist for the 2008 SPx Autograph Mystery Redemption Set is as follows:

A program like this allows us to pull out all the stops to find the best rookies available for our die-hard baseball fans."
