The 2022 National Sports Collectors Convention returns to Atlantic City, New Jersey for the 42nd NSCC event.
This offers a make-up, of sorts, for the 2020 NSCC in Atlantic City that was initially postponed and ultimately canceled due to COVID-19.
2022 National Sports Collectors Convention NSCC Guide
Although Atlantic City (AC) is the official site for the 2022 National Sports Collectors Convention, the massive card and collectible show was originally planned for the IX Center in Cleveland. However, the closure of the IX Center in 2020 led to a location change.
The National was last held in Atlantic City during the 2016 event.

Ticket pre-sales begin well in advance of NSCC 42. These are first available for purchase on Cyber Monday (November 29, 2021).

2022 Topps NSCC Box Break Redemption Exclusive Cards
This year, Topps has two different wrapper redemption promotions going. Collectors that purchase select 2022 Topps Hobby boxes at the National earn 1-2 packs of the main set, depending on the exact product.
In addition, 2021 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary has its own one-card promo packs featuring different a much smaller selection of cards.
Boxes must be purchased at the show and brought to the Topps booth sealed to redeem the promo packs.

Those buying sealed Leaf boxes at the National should check out the box break promo which includes three different sets. Opening a box from the list at the Leaf booth yields one free set: College Stars Football (11 cards), Pro Set Power Basketball (10 cards) or 1960 Leaf Basketball (9 cards).
