2019 National Sports Collectors Convention NSCC Guide
Overview
The National heads back to the Windy City for the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention. The 40th NSCC show continues its reign as the top sports card event of the year.
Moving on from Cleveland in 2018, the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center just outside of Chicago (Rosemont, IL) is home to a 2019 collecting experience that is filled with a massive selection of sports cards, collectibles and various entertainment options.
Plus, you can find a whole lineup of key signers through the Tristar Autograph Pavilion, as well as card company events, promo sets with exclusive cards, free giveaways, and the chance to meet up with your hobby friends.

2019 National Sports Collectors Convention Show Dates and Hours

2019 National Sports Collectors Convention Tickets
It is always good to remember that if you purchase the tickets ahead, you can save over the 2019 NSCC door prices. At a minimum, the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention ticket options start at $19 per day ($22 at the door) and kids under 12 are free the entire time. Buying online does add an additional $1 service fee per ticket.
The VIP tickets increase the cost and perks. These options are especially worth considering if you plan to be there for the entire convention. VIP upgrades include free autographs, early admission and exclusive gift bags. Super VIP tickets include free parking at the convention center parking garage plus the regular VIP benefits.

- General Admission: $19/day in advance, $22/day at the show
- Children (12 and under): Free all week
- VIP Package: $139 in advance, $149 at the show
- Super VIP Package: $199 in advance, $209 at the show
- All-Access VIP: $259 in advance, $269 at the show
- All-Access Super VIP: $309 in advance, $319 at the show

Other Events Around Chicago During NSCC 2019
Of course, not everyone will want to spend every waking minute of NSCC 2019 at the convention center. In addition to museums and other normal tourist options for the city, MLB fans can look into tickets for the Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers (Aug. 2 to 4) and Cubs vs. Oakland Athletics (Aug. 5 to 7).

As usual, the TriStar Autograph Pavilion is a driving force behind the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention. The 2019 NSCC signers list lineup is shown below. 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention Exclusive Cards
Another prime option at NSCC for collectors, various exclusive cards are issued by most of the companies. There are usually a few different wrapper redemptions going to encourage collectors to buy boxes at the National.

2019 Topps NSCC Wrapper Redemption Cards
For Topps, there are the 2019 Bowman Chrome National Convention Redemption cards at the Topps booth (#646). These offer limited Refractor parallels and even some rare autographs.

2019 Upper Deck NSCC Wrapper Redemption Cards
UD again provides NSCC Black Packs at their booth (#646). The 2019 Upper Deck National Convention Redemption cards include Prominent Cuts base cards from various athletes and Top Shelf hockey inserts. Random autographs are in play, as well, with exclusive cards and memorabilia available for case breakers.

2019 Panini NSCC Wrapper Redemption Cards
The 2019 Panini National Convention Wrapper Redemptions plans include NSCC Silver Packs available from the Panini booth and VIP Party Gold Packs exclusive to the high-rollers at Panini's private event.
2019 Leaf NSCC Wrapper Redemption Cards
Leaf works in three levels for the 2019 Leaf National Convention Wrapper Redemption promotion. Those that open a box of 2019 Leaf In the Game Used Sports or 2019 Leaf Metal Pop Century at the Leaf booth (#864) earn a 1992 Leaf Metal pack with one card. The multi-sport and entertainment set has cards for many different stars.

Program 3 of the 2019 Leaf National Convention Wrapper Redemption promotion centers on 2019 Leaf Metal All-American Bowl Football. For each case opened, collectors are awarded one 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention Bonus Box with 12 autographs. The boxes include very limited cards from 2019 Leaf Metal All-American Bowl, including Metal Proof Autos Wave (4 per box - 1/1), Printing Plate Autos (2 per box - 1/1), and Blank Back Selection Tour Autos (6 per box - #/2). Total production is just 50 boxes.
2019 National Sports Collectors Convention Exclusive VIP Cards
In addition to the wrapper redemptions, the card companies provide exclusive trading card sets to VIP ticket holders. These are only issued to collectors who purchase VIP tickets to the National.
