Continuing the coverage of the new Star Wars movie, 2016 Topps Star Wars: The Force Awakens Series 2 picks up from Series 1 with a similar format. Each hobby box includes two hits.

The 100-card base set presents a detailed look at the plot of the seventh film and offers multiple parallels. This includes Lightsaber Green (1 per pack), Lightsaber Blue (1:2 packs), Lightsaber Purple (1:4 packs) and Holofoil (1:12 packs). Gold (#/100) and Platinum (1/1) parallels are exclusive to hobby boxes.

A total of 54 inserts present collectors with more variety. Character Bios (18 cards) and Stickers (9 cards) focus on the main subjects in the film. Similarly, Character Journeys (9 cards) take a closer look at the story for the main characters. Finally, Alien Identification Guide (9 cards) inserts highlight the many species in the film and Concept Art (9 cards) relies on the artwork that acted as the blueprint for the movie.

Featuring the stars of the film, base Autographs headline the hits in the release. Hobby-exclusive parallels are also available, with Lightsaber Purple (#/50), Holofoil (#/25), Gold (#/10) and Imperial Guard Red (1/1) versions. Both are only found in hobby boxes, there are also Dual Autographs (3 cards) and Triple Autographs (3 cards).

Additional hits include Sketch Cards, Medallions and Printing Plates. Medallion cards total 36 options along with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum parallels. Printing Plates extend to both the base and autograph sets.

Those collectors who are struggling to locate boxes can find several retail formats through the Topps Online Store. There are also exclusive 5x7 card prints and posters for select cards that are only available through Topps' site.
