Continuing the online-exclusive extensions to 2016 Topps Garbage Pail Kids American as Apple Pie in Your Face, GPK takes a swipe at the 2016 Academy Awards with several parody cards for key acting names.
The limited Topps Online release includes nine different pairings, each specific to an actor or actress. While all featured cards include notable names, top options give the Garbage Pail Kid treatment to well-known stars like Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Matt Damon.
Like the previous limited-time releases, collectors only have 24 hours to purchase the cards by the subject (2 cards) for $9.99 or by the set (18 cards) for $49.99 before they are retired. Final print runs were provided once the sale ended on the evening of February 29, 2016 and all have 250+ copies with DiCaprio leading the way at 280.
Poster cards can be purchased though the Topps Online Store with basic 10x14 versions for $19.99 and one-of-one Gold versions going for $99.99.
