They might not be heroes yet, but their time to be immortalized as legends is now. Indeed, 2016 Funko Pop Legends of Tomorrow has joined the Pop! TV line.
Creating a spin-off series is not new to television, however, in the case of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the creators went a step further by bringing together fan favorites from two of The CW’s most popular shows: Arrow and The Flash.
The series follows ex-Time Master Rip Hunter on a quest to stop the nefarious, and immortal, Vandal Savage from destroying his family, and the world. In order to ensure his success, he has assembled a team of heroes and villains to travel with him through time to alter history.
The debut 2016 Funko Pop Legends of Tomorrow set features two characters from each show, including Atom (aka Ray Palmer) and White Canary (aka Sara Lance) from Arrow. In addition, The Flash characters include Firestorm and Hawkman.
Numbered as part of Pop! Television, the 2016 Funko Pop Legends of Tomorrow vinyl figures stand approximately 3 3/4” tall. Both Arrow and The Flash shows also have have their own standalone Pop lines.
