2016 Funko Pop A-Team Vinyl Figures
Product Details
2016 Funko Pop A-Team vinyl figures come together to join the Funko Pop! TV line. In addition to all the main characters, the team's famed van enters the mix as part of Pop! Rides.
Following four members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit, The A-Team television show ran for five seasons (1983-1987) on NBC. The team escaped from military prison after being convicted for a “crime they didn’t commit.” During the 48-minute episodes, The A-Team helps others in need while also trying to prove their innocence.
Lead by Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith (George Peppard), the crew — Lieutenant Templeton “Faceman” (usually “Face”) Peck (Dirk Benedict), pilot and Captain “Howling Mad” Murdock (Dwight Schultz), and, of course, Mr. T as B.A. Baracus, mechanic and Sergeant First Class — each has their own distinct personalities. Although not an actual character, the team's van, a 1983 GMC Vandura, is just as iconic as Mr. T's "I pity the fool" phrase.
Even though the The A-Team film (2010) was not a huge box office success, enough people enjoyed the movie and a reboot of the original television series is slated to debut in 2017. However, fans don't have to wait that long to see their favorite A-Team characters in Pop! sizes.
2016 Funko Pop A-Team perfectly captures each of the characters' personalities. Hannibal is wearing his black gloves and holding his cigar while Face's hair is perfectly parted as he wears his black leather jacket. Not to be outshined, Murdock has his sock puppet on his hand, and B.A. embodies the look of Mr. T from his classic mohawk and jacket down to his gold chains and rings.
Numbered as part of Pop! TV, 2016 Funko Pop A-Team vinyl figure stands approximately 3 3/4” tall.
While technically separate from the Pop! TV line, the Pop Rides A-Team Van includes an exclusive figure for B.A. Baracus along with the familiar vehicle.
