With an ever-expanding roster of characters, Skylanders has yet to slow down. 2014 Topps Skylanders Trap Team trading cards offer not only a bigger look at the growing video game universe, but some new inserts as well.
The 2014 Topps Skylanders Trap Team base set has 110 cards. This breaks down to include both new and returning characters, villains, hats and story cards. Unlike the previous Skylanders Giants and Swap Force sets, there's a parallel set as well. Gold versions are inserted 1:6 packs.
Foil Cards return, landing one per pack. There are 80 different cards with a similar breakdown to the main set. Collectors will find foils of new and existing Skylanders, villains and cards with both a Skylander and a villain.
2014 Topps Skylanders Trap Team rounds out with a pair of insert sets. Special Villains is a nine-card set that falls 1:6 packs. Coloring Cards are back as well with a nine-card checklist (1:4 packs).
Please note that the above information was for a planned North American release that appears to have not been released. However, Topps UK has released a set. We're looking into whether the configurations match up and will update ASAP.
