2010 NFL Preseason Top 25 Jersey Sales Rankings
According to the folks at NFLShop.com, current Denver Broncos back-up QB and ex-Gator legend Tim Tebow tops the latest list of NFL jersey sales. The sales data includes all jersey sales from April 1st up until October 31st. If Tebow manages to finish the season with the NFL's top selling jersey, he will be the first rookie to accomplish the feat since they began tracking jersey sale data.
Tebow's dual-marketability was simply too much for second place finisher Drew Brees to top, as both Denver Broncos fans and Florida Gators fans have been snapping up the 1st round pick's jersey. Outside of Tim Tebow, the only other rookie to make the list was #1 pick Sam Bradford of the St. Louis Rams.
Ben Roethlisberger's off-field issues led to a catastrophic drop in jersey sales. Big Ben began the 2009 season with the #5 selling jersey and ended last season at #11. Roethlisberger didn't even make the Top 25 list this time around. Fear not Steelers fans, as Troy Polamalu appears to have picked up the slack, grabbing the #3 spot.
Michael Vick is also noticeably absent from the list, starting last season at #4 and missing the top 25 this time around, although there is reason to expect a second half jersey sale surge as Vick continues to impress and has solidified his grip on the Eagles' starting Quarterback job over expected starter Kevin Kolb.
Despite their poor start to the 2010 NFL Season, the Dallas Cowboys lead the way with 3 players in the Top 25, with Tony Romo, Miles Austin and Jason Witten each making the list.

It would be interesting to see how many total jerseys Randy Moss ends up selling this year. Unfortunately, I am the confused owner of Randy's new #84 Vikings jersey. If you combine the sales of Patriots, Vikings, and now Titans jerseys, I would venture to say Randy's total by season's end would be Top 10 worthy. Unfortunately for Randy, the NFL doesn't combine totals.
