Fenway Park is one of the most historic in baseball history. The Boston Red Sox are shrinking the field down and giving it away as part of a stadium giveaway promotion. All fans at the April 27, 2015 game versus the Toronto Blue Jays receive a Fenway Park replica.
From the Green Monster in left field to the rest of the stands, it's a decent-looking piece given its size and purpose of a promotional piece.
With a capacity of more that 37,000, there is no shortage of the Fenway Park replicas. However, like a lot of giveaways, most will likely end up in the collections of fans who were at the game. That won't mean that they won't be available for those unable to attend the game. In fact, they were listed on eBay even before the game actually started. The first few pre-sales sold for about $30 each.
This is likely to be one of the more popular 2015 Boston Red Sox stadium giveaways. Other promotions include a Pedro Martinez Hall of Fame plaque in July and several bobbleheads over the course of the season. Carlton Fisk, Luis Tiant, Mike Napoli and Fred Lynn are among those getting the bobblehead treatment.
