Back in the day it was a normal part of the American childhood to have a Michael Jordan poster hanging on your wall (with bonus points if it was a Costacos Brothers gem). Wayne Gretzky posters were the Canadian equivalent. Through a partnership with Upper Deck, a new generation can get Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan Fatheads to decorate their walls. Tiger Woods is also available.
Or that previous generation can deck out their TV room or man cave with the massive wall decals.
The main Michael Jordan Fathead is a life-sized version of his Airness. It stands 6' 6", just like Mike. Included in the package, which costs $99.99, are several additional decals with various Chicago Bulls marks.
Two other full-sized Fatheads have in his 1992 Dream Team uniform.
Besides these, fans can get smaller Fathead Jr. decals, murals and a life-sized die-cut standee.
As far as Wayne Gretzky Fatheads go, there are three different life-sized decals -- one each for the Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers. Sorry, to those who remember the Great One's short stint with the St. Louis Blues.
Like Jordan, fans can also get some smaller and cheaper Fathead Jrs. Gretzky is also available as a Big Head, which is an over-sized cutout of just his face.
The initial lineup of Tiger Woods Fatheads features a pretty big mix of items featuring the golfer. Leading the way are full-sized "Sunday Tiger," "driving" and "putting" decals. Collectors can also choose from a couple of different Fathead Jrs.
Stellar photography is on display with several murals. Rounding things out is a Big Head and a stand-up.
Fathead decals are essentially large stickers meant for walls. They're easy to take down and move around. They also shouldn't damage any paint. And because they're stickers, they don't leave those annoying pinholes like hanging posters can.
