Normally it's the players and front office staff who get championship rings. The Los Angeles Kings rewarded their fans with replica 2014 Stanley Cup rings in a stadium giveaway during their October 16 game versus the St. Louis Blues.

They're not quite the same as the real deal. Made by Tiffany & Co, the official 2014 Stanley Cup rings given to players have 136 diamonds on the top to go along with the intricate design and engravings.

Enough giveaway rings were made to go around. Everyone at the game was given one. That would mean more than 18,000 replica 2014 Stanley Cup rings if the Staples Center was filled to capacity.

For Kings fans who couldn't make the game or don't live in Los Angeles, they're, not surprisingly, available on eBay. Before the game was even over, some had received bids for more than $50.

Looking over the Kings' promotional schedule, this is easily their best giveaway of the season. Pickings are slim outside of a couple of posters and a series of mini-sticks.

For those curious about how they're made, here's a video on how the Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup rings from the team.
