Product Details
The 2015-16 Imports Dragon NHL figures mark the start of a new era of collectible toys for the sport. After more than a decade of McFarlane figures, the license has moved. And Imports Dragon is being very ambitious with it.
Almost 40 players are slated to get six-inch figures in 2015-16 under the official name of Premium Sports Artifacts. They'll be distributed in four separate waves that have at least six figures each.
While most of hockey's biggest names are in the lineup, there are also some second-tier players. This is particularly true of the Canadian clubs. As far as rookies go, Connor McDavid is the only one announced so far.
Like McFarlane Sports Picks, the 2015-16 Imports Dragon NHL figures take a highly detailed approach. They come with a base that looks like ice and has the player's name and number on the front.
For dealers, figures will be distributed in both mixed-player and player-specific cases.
In addition to the larger figures, a 3-inch version is available as part of an interactive game. Along with a larger checklist, the smaller figures feature short-printed options.

When are these being released?
Dan » Wave 1 is out now.
where are these sold?
The face likenesses are atrocious, no chases, player and team selections are mediocre at best….. you watch, this product will make us long for the glory days of TMP’s product.
All the faces are the same too. It’s like a TMP sculpt with an SLU head and a non-paint plastic molded component that turned the hobby on its ear only a few years ago, right before TMP jumped the shark.
Potential is there, but looks like garbage for now. same gripes collectors had with TMP before all their ‘restructuring’.
These look more like toys than sculpts. The faces are like dolls, and the details (such as the creases in the jerseys), which made the McFarlanes so desirable are either missing or greatly simplified. The poses are stiff and lifeless. Kind of halfway between the McFarlanes and SLUs. This stuff is OK for kids, or for those who are not too demanding. As for the rest of us, might as well just keep dusting the old McFarlanes, and remembering the good old days. They made some awesome figures!
This is by far the very best figurine product ever released. Imports Dragon are here to stay. Good luck to them
I bought Tavares. His face look like Tavares face. Comparable to the McFarlane one.
These are terrible compared to the detail in the old macfarlane product!! Disappointing!!
Your Wave 3 and 4 checklist is all wrong! See http://www.clarktoys.com/20imdrnhl6fi.html for listings.
Beckett copied your checklist, all wrong.
Tom » As with all things, we provide accurate information at the original time of listing. Dates and contents are always subject to change and we update once we come across new information.
I just got the Drew Doughty, and it looks nice. Imports Dragon also has the MLB license, and will be putting baseball figures out this year: http://www.clarktoys.com/imdr20mlb6fi.html
I hope they do a Clayton Kershaw!
Carl » Yep. We have a guide for the baseball figures – http://www.cardboardconnection.com/baseball/2016-imports-dragon-mlb-baseball-figures
I have tried 3 times with my credit card to purchase Connor McDavid figure, the one that is 21.99.
I put my information in and hit continue and nothing happens. What do you think is the problem?
What am I doing wrong. Thanks
August Rogers » That’s weird. I’m not sure what the problem is. Here’s the one from Amazon – http://amzn.to/296ahbk

Tom,
You should show a little more appreciation, respect and/or courtesy to this website and Trey. He/They do a lot of work to make this site and it’s a helpful resource. They can’t always keep up with all the data and besides everyone makes mistakes once in a while.
I think he/them do a pretty good job.
