Presenting the troublemaking bird in vinyl, Funko Pop Woody Woodpecker honors the animated classic with a few options.Even though Woody Woodpecker first appeared in 1940, multiple generations know the red, white and blue bird, as well as his trademark laugh. The main Funko Pop Woody Woodpecker figure displays the noisy bird in a familiar pose with both arms (wings?) extended.
Technically considered a limited chase edition despite having a different box number, the #493 variant puts a mallet in one outstretched arm and rests the other arm at his side.
Although Woody debuted in Knock Knock, an animated short starring Andy Panda and Papa Panda, many fans likely remember the famed woodpecker from The Woody Woodpecker Show and The New Woody Woodpecker Show. The character was created by the Walter Lantz Productions, which is also responsible for Chilly Willy (the penguin).
