Collect the cartoon penguin with a taste for pancakes in Funko Pop Chilly Willy. The Pop! Animation line works in a few choices for the title character.Using the box numbering, the first Funko Pop Chilly Willy figure might not be quite what you remember. The Chilly Willy Frozen edition is blue with a glittery effect. These were issued as a FunkoShop exclusive during their 12 Days of Christmas extravaganza in 2018.
The more mainstream and accessible option offers the familiar black-and-white penguin. Knife and fork in hand, he is seated near a massive stack of pancakes topped with overflowing syrup and melting butter. He also wears a red-and-white hat that seems a tad bit undersized for his head.
Based around Chilly Willy, the small Alaskan/Antarctic penguin, the series debuted in 1953 out of Walter Lantz Productions. This is the same Universal Studios outfit that created Woody Woodpecker. In fact, Chilly Willy appears in both The Woody Woodpecker Show and The New Woody Woodpecker Show.
