Funko Pop Nightwing celebrates one of the most revered heroes from the pages of DC Comics.
While many know Dick Grayson as Batman's sidekick Robin, he made his debut as Nightwing in Tales of the Teen Titans issue #43 (1984). The primary Funko Pop Nightwing vinyl is decked out in a black suit with a dark blue, wing-like stripe across his chest and down his arms. Nightwing is also ready for battle, armed with Escrima Sticks.
In addition to the base blue figure in the Pop! Heroes line, Funko Pop Nightwing includes two exclusives, each issued through Fugitive Toys. Both feature the acrobatic hero in a red and black costume with his mask showcasing red eyes as opposed to pearl white. Although not labeled any differently, the Nightwing metallic edition is fairly easy to recognize as the red stripe on the suit and the eyes on the variant have a shiny finish.
Taking a more youthful approach, Pop! Television offers a teenage version of Robin as Nightwing in Funko Pop Teen Titans Go. Robin (as Nightwing) with a baby strapped to his chest is exclusive to Hot Topic.
