Proving some things never really go out of style, Funko Pop 8-Bit features vinyl figures with the appearance of late-'80s video games. Don't let that fool you, however, as the nostalgic line offers collectors more than just iconic game subjects.
With a plethora of third-generation, a.k.a. 8-bit, games to choose from, Funko decided on a (slightly) neutral superhero to kick off the new line: Batman. Officially debuting at 2017 New York Comic Con, the initial group also includes the classic arcade character Dig Dig
TMNT fans get Shredder and different colored variants for the Foot Soldiers. The Pop! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles options also include the fighting turtles. Amping up the retro further is the popular series Stranger Things, which offers multiple exclusives at Target.
Additionally, horror fans can find Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Alien among the lineup. Each has an exclusive option. Really mixing things up, The Joker, Mega Man, Predator, Ryu, and Raiden were issued in the 2017 GameStop Black Friday Mystery Box. Each of these Funko Pop 8-Bit figures has a chase variant that averages 1:5 boxes.
