Buyer Beware: Counterfeit Sketch Cards
I received a concerning email from friend, and sketch card artist Brian Kong last week. It seems that a certain seller on eBay has forged his artwork, and is selling it as his own. Brian did what he thought was the right thing and reported the seller to eBay immediately. Here is a comparison between an authentic Brian Kong Sketch Card and a fake:

This is wrong on so many levels.
First off all it gives the impression that the buyer is receiving an original 1/1 when the buyer is truly receiving a knock off. Not to mention the fact that takes away from all the hard work that Brian puts into creating original 1/1 piece's for collectors, and fans.
Did I also mention that this is stealing? Doing a little photo-shop work over an original 1/1 sketch card does not make it your own. In the professional world this is looked down upon especially when you're not crediting the original artist.
Brian is one of the hardest working sketch card artist around, and the time that he puts into his work is a tribute to the game itself. Did I mention that he collects cards as well, and is highly aware of the impact that these knock-offs have on our beloved hobby. To have someone steal that work, and profit off it is not only a black eye to our hobby, but to collectors as well.
