After a short, but popular, stint in the 1980s, the USFL remained largely dormant until the 2022 reboot.
Other than some ePack cards, this box set marks the start of UD's USFL trading card exclusive.
The product is also an homage, of sorts, to the past, as some collectors may recall the popular 1984 Topps USFL Football Box Set.
2023 Upper Deck USFL Football Box Set Details
The 2023 Upper Deck USFL Football Box Set format keeps things simple with a 35-card box. Every set has 25 base cards featuring the top USFL players. There are also five cards in the Retrospective Season Highlights subset, which looks back to 2022.
The final five cards in the box set are parallels. On average, each box contains one serial-numbered base parallel or a Blue Autograph parallel. The signed cards fall in every fifth box.
