2023-24 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey Inserts
Inserts are the other big element in 2023-24 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey, with several new sets to complete.
Among the debuts, Deep Roots (1:4 packs) showcases "foundational players," Director of Boards (1:8 packs) is for the most physical players, and PC's (1:4 packs) aims to highlight the best player from each team.
Other new inserts include Ecliptic (1:6 packs), displaying top players mid-shot, Glaring (1:67 packs), zeroing in on the eyes, and Instinctive (1:4 packs), which shows goalies in action.
That leaves Monster Season (1:15 packs), celebrating Connor McDavid's '22-23 Hart Memorial Trophy year with game-by-game coverage across 82 cards. The Gold parallel, numbered to 153, honors the total number of points he scored.
