2021 Topps Project70 Baseball Set Details

Per Topps, 2021 Topps Project70 "pushes boundaries while paying homage to our heritage." This includes a massive influx of new artists to go along with most of the names from Project 2020. The only original artist not returning for Project70 is Grotesk.

In addition, 2021 Topps Project 70 Baseball gives the creators more freedom. Unlike Project 2020, which was confined to 20 artists each covering the same 20 cards, the P70 artists can select the players and designs of their choosing.

In total, the 51 artists/creators each offer 20 cards printed on 130-point glossy card stock. This means the overall set should be 1,020 cards. Each card is sold for 70 hours, so right around three days, at $19.99 per card, and new cards are available daily.

Looking at the total numbers, the set continues throughout 2021. While there are initially three cards per day, it will have to switch to four per day at some point later in the run in order to sell all the cards before 2021 ends.

The cards contain a holographic security logo on the back and arrive in plastic cases. Final totals for the print-to-order cards are revealed after the sales period has ended.

Collectors can also chase the limited Rainbow Foil (#/70) and Gold Frame (1/1) parallels. These limited-edition Project 70 cards are randomly inserted into the main print run. Silver Frame Artist Proof editions are numbered to 51 copies—up from 20 copies last year—and sold separately for a higher price ($99.99).

2021 Topps Project70 Baseball Bonus Reward

Giving fans an extra incentive, an exclusive gold-stamped art print is awarded to those who purchase all 20 cards from the same artist. All the purchases must be made from the same Topps account to qualify.

Select cards offer individual chase incentives, as well.
