2021 Bowman Draft Sapphire Edition Baseball brings top MLB prospects some extra shine via the online-only product.

2022 Topps 582 Montgomery Club members get the first chance to buy through a pre-sale on January 18. One stipulation is that members who purchase during the pre-sale can't buy boxes during the public sale.

The public sale was expected on January 19, but it's not clear if the product ever went live on the site. Nevertheless, the listing shows "Sold Out" on Topps.com.

A sign of the times, the price is again increased, pushing up to $199.99 per box. For the exact same 32-card box format, the 2019 boxes were $35 and the 2020 boxes were $70.

User Reviews

  1. These are always nice cards. Last year though, these were $70 a box and 582 Montgomery club members could buy two. This year the limit is one and the price has ballooned to $199 a box, which is quite an increase on 32 cards, especially when the only guarantee is a couple of parallels. Again these are nice, but you could end up with a box of second and third round prospects if particularly unlucky.

  2. Why over priced. You can thank all the flippers for this price hike! Welcome to what 🗑natics will be bringing you.
