Continuing the online approach to Pop! exclusives, the 2020 Funko New York Comic Con Exclusives lineup brings NYCC directly to the collectors and fans.
Shifting in response to the global pandemic, the normal New York Comic Con event was canceled. In its place is the virtual New York Comic Con's Metaverse that runs from October 8 to 11.
2020 New York Comic Con at Home / Funko Virtual Con
Of course, even without the standard NYCC experience, there will still be 2020 Funko New York Comic Con Exclusives to add to your Pop! collection thanks to Funko Virtual Con IV.
The first three 2020 Funko Virtual Cons include San Diego Comic-Con, Emerald City Comic Con and WonderCon.
Like always, Funko announces the figures in advance. The very first announcement came from Entertainment Earth. While the "This Is Fine Dog" vinyl figure was originally planned for NYCC, it is not part of Funko Virtual Con IV and is issued with a regular Entertainment Earth exclusive sticker.
Where to Buy 2020 Funko New York Comic Con Exclusives Figures
It is expected that all of the figures will be sold directly by Funko's online shop. Those figures exclusive to FunkoShop can come with either the official New York Comic Con booth sticker or the Fall Convention sticker with no ability to pick which version you will get. All shared exclusives sold through Funko's store feature the NYCC sticker except for the Toy Tokyo releases.
In order to combat bots and to improve the buying experience, Funko has changed the process for buying the exclusives to a lottery system. The full details are shown below.
2020 Funko New York Comic Con Exclusives Lottery
As noted, this must be completed by September 28 at 11:59 PM (Pacific).
If you were selected, an email with the info should have arrived on October 2.
All remaining figures from the FunkoShop lottery sale are made available to the general public at the standard shared release time of 9 AM (Pacific) on October 9.

Shared retailers have the same figures but all feature the Fall Convention sticker. The lottery is only for Funko and does not apply to the shared retailers, which should operate as usual.
