2018 Topps Baseball Factory Set Rookie Variations Gallery
The 2018 Topps Baseball Factory Set Rookie Variation cards show that not all variations have to be tough to uncover. Found in the retail versions of 2018 Topps Complete Set, these factory sets have a special five-card pack featuring different flagship images for some top 2018 rookies.

Of course, these exclusive cards are in addition to the complete factory set for Series 1 and Series 2. Packed separately within the box set, the full rookie variation lineup is included in every retail edition, including new photos for Shohei Ohtani and Rhys Hoskins.
While there are multiple versions, each with their exclusives, retail is the place to find these. An easy cheat is to read the box, as it specifies the extra cards found inside.
Another rookie variation surprise is waiting inside the 2018 Topps Factory Set boxes, as well, and these are in every format rather than just retail. Late additions for rookies Ronald Acuna and Gleyber Torres add new photographs for the young phenoms compared to the Series 2 short prints. These 2018 Topps Baseball Factory Set Rookie Variations for Torres and Acuna are simply the base version and are part of every 2018 Topps Complete Set.
For those not seeing the factory sets in their immediate area, Topps is selling the retail sets direct for $50. There are also special Chrome rookie variations exclusive to the Walmart boxes that also have the variations shown on this page.

Strange. The SP Torres and Acuna cards are not considered official rookie cards but will the regular issue factory set ones be? Will that mean the eventual Torres and Acuna Topps update Rookie cards not be actual rookie cards because they were already released in the set format? Too much ambiguity from Topps with them slapping RC logos on everything and anything they can.
