The 2015 baseball season brings a new slate of MLB stadium giveaways. As always, bobbleheads play a major role in a lot of teams' plans. The 2015 MLB bobblehead giveaway list has more than 100 figures. Current players, retired stars, mascots, Hello Kitty, wookies and more are all up for grabs at specific games or with special ticket deals.
The Philadelphia Phillies kick things off in the preseason with a Roy Halladay bobblehead on March 7. With just 6,000 available, it's bound to be one of the rarest 2015 stadium giveaways. They continue through to the end of the regular season when the Brewers give away a yet-to-be-determined figure on October 4.
Highlights among this year's batch include a celebratory Madison Bumgarner bobblehead where he's holding his 2014 NLCS and World Series MVP trophies. He's also rocking a pretty big belt buckle. The Giants have several additional giveaways throughout the season. On some nights, there's the added challenge that they're giving away three different bobbleheads on the same night that are distributed at random.
The Cincinnati Reds have a "Stars of the Queen City" series of bobbleheads that highlight three of the franchise's all-time greats. Johnny Bench and Barry Larkin have both been confirmed. There will be another one added to the lineup on September 12. The Reds also have a triple bobblehead featuring Randy Myers, Rob Dibble and Norm Charlton, the relievers better known as the Nasty Boys.
Bud Selig may be retired as baseball's commissioner, but the Brewers have added him to their giveaway lineup on May 31.
A handful of teams have Star Wars-themed giveaways, which shouldn't be much of a surprise given how popular special nights dedicated to the franchise have become. Still, none can compare to the epic Brian Wilson in Carbonite statue the San Francisco Giants gave away in 2011.

The Roy Halladay bobblehead isn’t super rare really. They gave out that bobblehead last August during Alumni Weekend. If it is the bobblehead pictured, it is the same one.
The Brewers are having a Jedi Luc (Lucroy) on 5/30
and also a Harry Doyle (Bob Uecker) on 7/21.
No wonder Mileaukee is going to be the home of the National Bobblehead Museum, look at all those BH giveaways! Wow!!!
Both Jedi Luc and Harry Doyle bobbleheads require special tickets. The Harry Doyle bobblehead has a sound chip in it and says a few things. Also June 11th special ticket holders are able to get a Hank stitch and pitch bobblehead. The Garza bobblehead on August 2nd is actually a gnome along with the Scooter Gennett bobblehead listed on September 20th, that is a gnome. The Bob Uecker statue listed on this website is supposed to be listed as a bobblehead, according to the official Brewers website. Word.
Phil Hughes in Star Wars form will be distributed to the special ticket holders on May 4th in Target Field. May the 4th be with you, Hughes the force.
Y’all should allow pictures. I’ve got quite a collection.
October 4th for the Brewers will not be a bobblehead. It will either be a scarf, winter hat, cap or other useless item.
Phillies:
8/18 is Larry Bowa (to all fans)
6/19 is special 1960’s uniform version of their classic bobblehead given away on 6/2. 1st 1000 people who buy tickets thru their website get a voucher for a limited edition bobblehead.
A rep also told me that their will be a Phillies Star Wars night in August again this year (no date or promo item as of yet).
Will you put this list together again in 2016? This was great in planning my 2015 ballpark adventures!
