2014 Topps Heritage Minor League Variation Short Prints Guide
As you shuffle through your 2014 Topps Heritage Minor League cards, make sure to keep an eye out for base variations. Like last year, Topps included 25 of these rare short prints in the minor league product. Although there is no real theme to the variations, most are easily distinguished from their base counterparts.
The 2014 Topps Heritage Minor League Variations feature some of the biggest prospects in the game, including Kris Bryant, Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton. The base card for Jorge Alfaro is actually part of the high number short prints subset.
View a detailed visual guide to the limited variations below, including a side-by-side comparison with the base versions. There is also a short description for each version to further help distinguish the cards. Another way to determine the variations is that they have no parallels except for printing plates. The base cards and high number short prints both have Lime, Black and Blue border parallels, in addition to printing plates.

Do these have a different serial # on the back like the 2013 version? Easier to look that way than memorize who are the guys with variations.
