Generally speaking, collecting the Chrome Prospect Autographs from Bowman is an exercise in patience. It's not usually about the hot rookie of the moment but rather who's going to be making a splash in the majors next year or even two or three years down the line. Much of the 2014 Bowman Baseball Chrome Prospect Autographs checklist takes a similar approach, although there is one name who's crushing major league home runs already.
2014 Bowman Baseball has a total of 54 Chrome Prospect Autographs. Hobby exclusives, these combine with 16 Chrome Rookie Autographs to land one per hobby box.
Leading the way are the top two picks from the 2013 MLB Draft, Mark Appel and Kris Bryant. Both were featured extensively in late-2013 products from Panini and Leaf but these don't have them in the MLB uniforms.
Curiously, Topps did include Appel and Bryant Prospect inserts in 2013 Bowman Sterling. They also had a very limited number of autographs in 2013 Bowman Draft. So it will be interesting to see how collectors respond to 2014 Appel and Bryant autographs given that some already exist with them in their MLB threads.
Another big name out of the gate on the 2014 Bowman Baseball Chrome Prospect Autographs list is Jose Abreu. The Cuban skipped the minors and went straight to the Windy City after signing with the White Sox in the off-season.
Most of the remaining Chrome Prospect Autographs are a mix of international free agents and mid-round picks from the last several years.
Besides basic versions, there are several levels of Refractor parallels that will also garner lots of attention.
Below is a full gallery of the Chrome Prospect Autographs in 2014 Bowman Baseball. Arranged alphabetically by last name, we've also included their team, and draft year and round.

I believe Chris Bostick is now on the Rangers. Part of the Craig Gentry/Michael Choice deal.
