Like a lot of sets, 2013 Topps Prime Football can be found at both your local hobby shop and in retail spots like Target and Walmart. What you might not know is that the hobby and retail versions have some major differences, besides the fact that hobby has a lot more in the way of autographs and memorabilia. This includes an entirely different set of rookie card variations.
Hobby and retail rookies use different photos. The design is the same and a lot of the pictures are similar, but the cards are totally different. So how do you tell which is which? It's easy if you have both versions side-by-side. 2013 Topps Prime Football retail cards are done on a thinner stock.
