2013 Topps Platinum Football Cards

It was a 8/10 not nine of ten

I went to my local hobby store and bought a box. I got a rookie auto military parallel 9/10 of Tavarres King. I recommend this product to any football card lover.

Really love the cards. I just have a question. I have a one that’s confusing me. Keenan Allen II Xfractor #67. All the ones I see online are number #144. Is this just an error or a special card?

Really like the set. More inserts would of been better but really nice over all. Can someone tell me what a kennan all autograph purple refractor 4 color patch card is worth. I can’t find it anywhere its numbered 1/10

Got a Jimmy Graham die-cut military auto out of a regular retail box. I cannot find it anywhere in Beckett, says it’s like 1:several thousand, which I find hard to believe, AND it says it’s an RC. Very confused on what exactly this card is worth. Any thoughts??

i have to be a man of my word, and i try not to be a d. bag. I blasted the product in earlier review. then i broke week and bought another retail box. I pulled a marshawn lynch auto bcs diecut. im much happier now

Happy new year! I don’t have a LCS in my area so depend on big box stores. New Year’s Eve bought two Topps Value boxes , comes with six 2013 football packs, 3 special chrome rookie , and two hobby platinum packs. Kenny Stills on card auto , Stedman Bailey Auto patch refractor , and EJ Manuel on card red 10/10 RC! Thanks Topps for luring me into buying them !

Really enjoyed the product last year and have been really happy with my experience this year. I’ve bought a couple of hobby boxes, a few retail boxes, three packs and singles from a card shop. I’ve pull 4 Rookie Auto/Patch cards…Mike Gillislee #/1000, Giovani Bernard #/250, Jordan Reed Green #/99 & Manti Teo Frost #/50 plus a lot of other inserts including a Jamaal Charles Red AUTO redemption card. I like spreading out my purchases between the product options I think it helps my hit ratio.

I do have a question though…I have a Robert Griffin Military Ribbon DC, but I didn’t see it on the product list. I believe there is an Andrew Luck one as well. Are there additional cards to the lists above? I would like to see an update if anyone has one.

bought 3 retail value boxes in 2012. i loved it. lots of great inserts. bought 2 boxes of 2013 this year. nothing but garbage. i wont even buy another pack. totaly dissapointed. i usually spend 1,500 $ a year on football cards. thanks topps. i wont spend another cent this year.

I have sent 1 email but will say again. I have now bought 7 8-pac retail boxes and a few 3-pac boosters and the best I have gotten is 1 diecut and a handful xfrctors. I love this stuff but have been very unhappy about my insert ratio.I will usually build a set every couple of years and doing this !. I never buy loose pacs because I know they have been searched, always a mini-box or 3-pacs. I hated myself for doing it but bought a ‘hot” pac on ebay, knowing it was searched, so I guess I deserve it when I get cheated. I accidentally bought a retail pac, thinking it was hobby, havnt received it yet, but can diecuts in retail have a chance at autos? If not i got truly duped, bought that 1 by accident anyway thinking it was a hobby pack. Our metro area is fairly big, half a million or so but have no hobby outlets available to us any more, used to be plenty and dont like using ebay for that. I understand retail vs hobby, and all that, but most hobby dealers cheat too. Anyway there has to be a bit fairer for us retail buyers who spend lots of money? REal good..pulled a Montee Ball auto patch purple refract 3/10…also got the Luck camo ribbon—it says Rookie Card on it like the lynch and other cards mentioned here. Def not a 1/1 as there’s a dozen of them on EBAY as we speak.

Value Pack Says 3 Flame Refractor Cards But Got None

Bought Value Pack at Walmart To see what they look liked. Got No Flame Refractor cards but got 11-1994 Classic Pro Line Live Cards and only 2 Platinum Cards :(

Hi, I recently bought a retail box of 2013 Topps football. It contained one pink ribbon patch card. I received a Marshawn Lynch. He was in seahawks uniform (current) but the patch was the buffalo bills. Looking online the only images I can find are with the appropriate seahawks patch. I asume this is an error. I know this is a new product, but have you had any reporting of error patches? hypothetically does this increase or decrase the value of the card? Thanks in advance for your info…

nice overall product biggest complaint is the autos so far i got two late rounders and of the same guy and only one 3rd rounder no higher draft picks which really sucks….

Theres a Frost base rookie variation /99 thats not listed on this list. just a heads up

Yeah I saw that on the Lynch photo after I posted. Any word on how many were made on each? I’ve heard 1/1, it’s 1:6000 packs but no serial number.

I just pulled a milatary cut Arian Foster. I have 2 questions… 1. It says its a RC on the card, the front has the Topps rookie card logo, and the back says it’s a rookie card. 2. Are these cards 1/1? All of the ones up on ebay say they are. If anyone can help me out I’d appreciate it

Topps & Bowman products are the best out there and they are the only reason the hobby is thriving right now. Personaly I dont buy cases of there products because of the risk of being let down. Buying one or two boxes of a product at a time and also buy a little from hobby, retail and from multiple locations seems to get me the most variety of hits.

Topps sucks, their collation of hits on all 2013 products is just plain terrible, u buy a case your likely to get 4 or 5 auto’s of the same late round rc.

May I add, to all CBC subscribers. Behind of each 2013 Topps Platinum Card at the top, a Twitter account of the player that is represented in the front is available. Certain players like Tony Romo and Philip Rivers are not available. I’m sure there are more players with their Twitter account not available but at this time I do not have the aforementioned information. Have fun Tweeting.

Compared to 2012 Topps Platinum? In reference, imagine a comparison of a Mercedes Benz SLS to a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG! They are both excellent cars. The Benz AMG just happens to be a faster upgraded model. With that said, 2013 Topps Platinum has the same fantastic card stock that Topps continues to excel in. The graphics are absolutely outstanding. Finally, with vibrant colors that tie into the graphics there is not much to dislike in this years debut of Topps Platinum.

rookie cards as always in this set look great-vets are not on as heavy stock as normal with the set-but the question i have is, all of the die-cut cards have the rookie card insignia on the card even for the veterans. was this an error by topps or the way they planned it? thanks for any help!

Picked up about 10 jumbo packs or 30 packs. Love these the best because you get 3 orange refractors in each Jumbo. Grabbed 2 Autographs with 1 being a Die Cut Auto, 2 more Die Cuts, several Xfractors, 3 Black parallels and several other parallels/refractors. Not sure of the difference yet. Love the set so far but did get some duplicate packs or would have been a 5 star.

Bought two hobby boxes and thought after the first box it was a 5 star product. After opening the second box I drop it to a 3. The second box did not contain the Patch Auto as stated on box. Alot of the packs were repeats, after 40 packs (2 boxes) still 12 cards short from base 100 set.

Years before collected this set but no love for the bears means no love for the set didn’t even see bears rookies and only peppers and cutler for base U could have thrown Tillman or Jennings into the mix sad day for a fan of the bears for this set over all would have been a 4 or 5 star product but oh well only bought one pack that will be no more will get my 2 cards from card show

Just picked up a box today, very nice cards. Base cards look great and lots of parallels. I have a question though, I got a military die-cut Montee Ball, non-auto, but the card is #ABMDC-MB as if it was supposed to be signed. Any thoughts? Could this be an error SP? Thanks!
