Feast Your Eyes on the 2013 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Autographs

2013 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball has no shortage of autograph signers. The non-baseball signers alone make for a big checklist. Add in more than 70 current and retired baseball players and you've got a list that's  huge, if not a little daunting.

As with past years, the main 2013 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Autographs are done in the form of framed mini cards. All are signed on-card. Highlights on the checklist include Mike Trout, Yasiel Puig, Sandy Koufax, Cal Ripken Jr. and Manny Machado. However, most of the biggest baseball signers are inserted via redemptions.

Another quirk in the lineup is that a couple of players only signed in red ink. So as not to confuse collectors with the Red Ink parallels that are numbered to 10, these have been numbered but to varying amounts. These range from a high of 409 for Wilin Roasario all the way down to 31 for Mike Trout. This highlights that some signers are far tougher than others. Based on early sales data, this appears to carry through blue ink autographs. However, without numbering it's  impossible to know how rare (or plentiful) some of the autographs are.

Allen & Ginter autographs often carry a premium over signed cards from other sets. The brand has some very dedicated set builders that help send prices higher. And while Allen & Ginter isn't for everyone, few will argue against the attractiveness of the cards either.
