2013 Sage Hit High Series Football is the second half of the company's main gridiron product. Dedicated to the upcoming NFL rookie class, hobby boxes come with a total of nine autographs.
The 2013 Sage Hit High Series checklist includes players not used in Low Series. Highlights include Eddie Lacy, Geno Smith and Mike Glennon. The base set starts at number 76, adding an additional 75 cards to the entire 2013 Sage Hit collection. Besides basic base cards, there are a pair of subsets, Spotlight and Next Level.
The Artistry and Write Stuff inserts carry over to 2013 Sage Hit High Series as well. Like the base cards, there are both regular versions and Autographs, some of which come in extremely low quantities. Artistry has another 12 cards added while Write Stuff expands by another six cards.

card stock is flimsy – got alot of dinged corners — air brushed helmets look ridiculus –SAGE should resort to the topps FB poses from the 60s and early 70s (no helemets on, just a pose in uniform) if they are to cheap to buy an NCAA license

michael » Licensing isn’t about being cheap. Some smaller companies simply can’t afford to pay what larger companies are willing to. That doesn’t necessarily excuse cards that don’t look good, but it doesn’t make the company cheap when some things are somewhat beyond their control.
