Product Details
No matter how high the ratings, making cards of current TV shows can risky. However, The Big Bang Theory seemed like a no-brainer. And for Cryptozoic, it paid off. Their first set was a quick sell-out and several cards continue to command massive prices on the secondary market. If a format works, why change it? 2013 Cryptozoic The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 and 4 promises more autographs and costume cards as well as two new insert sets.
Among the set's 20 confirmed autographs are all five of the main cast. Not only that, but their cards are autographed costume cards. Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch also have autographed costume cards. According to Cryptozoic, the seven autographed costume cards combine to fall about one per case. Among the basic autograph card signers are Wil Wheaton, Danica McKellar, Levar Burton and Rick Fox. You can see the autographs here.
Like Seasons 1 and 2, each box also comes with a Wardrobe Card with a costume swatch from the show. There are 29 pack-inserted single-swatch cards, seven Dual Wardrobe Cards and one that's a binder exclusive.
The Elevator is a new nine-card insert dedicated to the broken elevator that adds a little flavor (and the occasional plot point) to the show. The other basic insert in 2012 Cryptozoic The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 and 4 is Duos. It centers on the many relationships of the show and the different dynamics they create.
2013 Cryptozoic The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 and 4 boxes come with 24 packs of five cards. The 68-card base set retells the quirky stories and highlights the ever-expanding cast of secondary characters. Printing Plates for base cards 1 to 67 fall 1:864 packs.
Despite the first set's popularity, Crytozoic isn't letting the presses roll. The release is limited to a print run of 7,000 boxes. This will further fuel demand. Over the long-term, 2013 Cryptozoic The Big Bang Theory Seasons 3 and 4 sealed wax values should hold very strong.
