Washington Nationals Rookie Card Guide - 2012 MLB Postseason Edition

Washington Nationals Rookie Card Guide – 2012 MLB Postseason Edition

The Washington Nationals are in the postseason for the first time since the team moved from Montreal. Bolstered by strong pitching and a youthful core, the team has brought a lot of excitement to the nation's capital. Although the team has one of baseball's biggest young stars in Bryce Harper, much of the team has been largely overlooked by collectors. This could make many Washington Nationals rookie cards particularly hot if they make a serious World Series run.

Bryce Harper rookie cards and high-end inserts are already moving for high prices. However, they could soar even higher playing for a championship in front of a global audience. The rookie outfielder has a natural charisma that makes him something of a polarizing figure. However, strong stats and championships can only mean good hobby fortunes.

Below you will find complete rookie card checklists for all of the Washington Nationals' starting players as well as Gio Gonzalez. The Cy Young candidate is the key to the team's starting rotation with Stephen Strasburg shut down for the season. You can click on the players' names to easily shop for rookie cards. We've also added direct links to key Washington Nationals rookie cards.
