Unannounced 2015 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Mini Inserts

Many adjectives have been used to describe Allen & Ginter, but the charm of the set really boils down to all the individual components. 2015 Topps Allen & Ginter continues the tradition with a pair of unannounced mini inserts. While previous years have also included secret inserts, the SSP mini inserts in 2015 A&G feature a similar theme.

Both showcasing a health focus, collectors can find ten-card sets for A Healthy Body and A Healthy Mind in 2015 Topps Allen & Ginter. While they are noted on the pack odds, neither insert was included on the sell sheet or final checklist. Each of the sets include standard-size mini inserts, but they are much tougher to pull than 1:5 packs. The odds for each insert averages 1:288 packs or one card per case, making them a tougher set to complete. These pack odds apply to both retail and hobby boxes.

As the names indicate, each set covers activities that are, or once were, thought to help facility a healthy mind or body. Most of the concepts featured are fairly common, but others might be sending you to Google for a quick search. For example, the Turnplatz is just an early name for an open-air gymnasium. Nauheim baths are a special carbon dioxide water procedure and the Gymnasticon is simply an exercise machine.

Although it is still early, only a few of each have surfaced and some have been much harder to track down. In general, early sales prices have been around $10 per card.
