Overview
The New York Islanders dynasty of the 1980s secured the team's place in hockey history. It cemented a passionate fan base in a competitive media market and, more importantly, provided a wealth of opportunity for collectors.
The dynasty-era teams were led by several Hall of Fame players, including Denis Potvin, Mike Bossy and the legendary Bryan Trottier.
