The New York Giants are one of the NFL's high-profile teams and also one of the most successful. The "G-Men" have won four Super Bowl titles and have fielded a stable of Hall of Fame talent. Established in 1925, the New York Giants are one of the oldest teams in the NFL. In addition to their four Super Bowl wins, the team also won four titles before the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, bringing their championship total to eight. While their first three titles came in a ten-year period near the beginning of their creation, the Giants have seen considerable ups and downs since then.
The Super Bowl titles in 1986, 1990, 2007 and 2011 obviously mark the high points. These teams were largely led by dominating defense and and strong quarterback play. Phil Simms, Lawrence Taylor, Michael Strahan, Eli Manning stand out on these teams and are among the most preferred options for collectors.
The team has not had as much luck lately with Eli Manning still at the helm. However, given their sporadic ability to go on a tremendous winning streak, it is hard overlook them in any season.
