Marshawn Lynch Rookie Cards and Autograph Memorabilia Guide

Date of Birth: 4/22/1987

Rookie Card Year: 2007

Investment Rating: 7.0

Overview

The Seattle Seahawks have become a high-powered team on both sides of the field. And while Russell Wilson basks in a lot of the hobby's glow, Marshawn Lynch cards are gaining more attention. And although he's proven to be one of the NFL's elite running backs, Lynch has yet to move into the hobby's elite. But he's getting closer. With the Seahawks proving to be dominant and one of the most passionate local fan bases, Marshawn Lynch cards and memorabilia should continue to rise over the foreseeable future. The only major risk is injury. This could be doubly true for Lynch as it looks as though Christine Michael is ready to step in if need be and potentially take the running back spot.

Drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2007, Lynch spent three full seasons with the team before being sent to Seattle in 2010 for a couple of draft picks.

Collectors have nearly 40 different Marshawn Lynch rookie cards to chase. Some are cheap and easy to find. Others can be quite pricey and come with very limited print runs. Additionally, 14 of these first-year Marshawn Lynch cards are autographed, although the majority of them use stickers. 2007 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection and 2007 National Treasures rank as the most valuable Marshawn Lynch rookie cards. Both are numbered to 99 and come with both an on-card autograph and patch swatch.
