Maria Sharapova's rapid rise to stardom has been based on much more than her model good looks. Over her career thus far, the former top-ranked WTA player has won approximately four matches for every loss. She has three Grand Slam titles to her credit. Featuring, the seemingly always smiling Sharapova in a post-match victory celebration, this is Sharapova's most iconic and memorable rookie card.

Later in 2005, Ace Authentic featured a higher-end product that had Sharapova's other rookie card. This time she is depicted in dual actions shots: a color foreground photo and a smaller black and white inset. The color contrast makes for a very attractive card.
