LeSean McCoy Cards and Memorabilia Guide

LeSean McCoy

Date of Birth: 7/12/1988
Rookie Card Year: 2009
Investment Rating: 6.5

LeSean McCoy has shown that he can be an elite back in the NFL and now that he has been paired with Chip Kelly, a coach that is big on offense, he looks to be in line for a consistent boost in production. LeSean McCoy cards are trending up and his rookie cards are are the top option for collectors.

The speedy McCoy spent two seasons at the University of Pittsburgh before declaring for the NFL draft. In 2009, the Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the middle of the second round to backup the starter, Brian Westbrook. However, McCoy assumed the starting role the next season and put up solid numbers. "Shady," as he is known, followed 2010 up with a breakout year in 2011, and he was named to the Pro Bowl. Injuries compounded a disappointing 2012 season, but 2013 has seen McCoy return to form and collectors are paying attention.

LeSean McCoy has over 40 rookie cards, including 16 autographed options. Obviously these signed LeSean McCoy cards are the most valuable options, but collectors also have plenty of mid-level and budget rookie cards to pursue.
