Overview
Hope Solo is the current goalkeeper for the USA Women's National team and is coming off a star-making World Cup run, despite losing to Japan on penalty kicks. Solo won the Golden Glove Award for best goalkeeper, and the Bronze Ball Award for her overall performance. She was also selected to the tournament's All-Star team. Despite the more limited mainstream hobby appeal towards soccer, Hope Solo cards and memorabilia continue to draw lots of interest.
A four-time All-Pac-10 selection and a three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American at the University of Washington, she is the team's all-time leader in shutouts, saves, and goals against average. Solo helped lead the United States to gold medals in Women's Soccer in both 2008 and 2012.
Hope Solo cards, autographs and memorabilia are quite popular, given her recent international success. Her charismatic personality and media savvy make her a fan favorite. Her definitive rookie cards come from 2008.

Hope Solo Cut Signature Exemplar:
Hope Solo Key Signature Attributes: An authentic Hope Solo signature autograph will exhibit several distinguishing characteristics, regardless of the item signed or when it was signed. Look for the following signature features:
- The entire signature is typically signed on an angle of about 45 degrees.
- The signature consists of three letters and one character.
- The letter "H" consists of two parallel lines, the left one having a tail at the top; the crossing of the two parallel lines starts at the bottom of the right-most one in the form of a line resembling a letter "c."
- A large comma, set below the letters is designated to separate first and last name.
- A printed letter "S" is easily distinguishable.
- The pen lifts and a cursive letter "l" is written with an extension of a nearly closed loop for the letter "o."
