A Super Bowl win brought big attention to the star player and his amazing productivity, and he continues to build on his values as he closes in on some of the all-time NFL records for QBs.

2001 Playoff Contenders Drew Brees RC #124 Autograph (Print Run = 500)

Despite the higher print run, the 2001 Playoff Contenders Drew Brees rookie card has emerged as the clear favorite. The card is not serially numbered but the print run was revealed to be capped at 500 autographed cards. While the sticker autograph is not ideal, as one of only a handful of autographed Drew Brees rookie cards, it is easier to accept in this instance. Buoyed by the demand for Contenders Rookie Ticket autographs, this card has exploded in value over the years. There are rare unsigned versions, as well. These also carry huge values.

2001 SPx Drew Brees RC #101 Autographed Jersey (2 versions, each #/250)

SPx released two different rookie cards for Brees in 2001 and both are top draws for collectors. Each 2001 SPx Drew Brees rookie card is numbered to 250 and features a small jersey piece and trapped autograph. The cards have similar designs but are easy to tell apart. On one, Brees is on the left side of the card, holding the football out. The other has Brees on the right side of the card with a somewhat awkward grin, holding the ball with both hands. The background colors are another way to differentiate the two as one is red and the other is silver.

2001 Crown Royale Drew Brees RC #150 Autograph #/250

The 2001 Crown Royale Drew Brees rookie card features the iconic die-cut design of the product, which looks like an actual crown. Although the card shows Brees in his Purdue Boilermakers college jersey, it receives bonus points for having an on-card autograph. It is also numbered to just 250 copies. Given the die-cut style, they are difficult to find in mint condition.

trying to understand why a SP Authentic Brady – unsigned #1250 is considered (by some) to be the best…
but for Brees SPA is a patch#800 (unsigned) and does not even make it to premium list here?
also Brees TOPS Finest RCs go for very good $$ as they typically are grading high pretty consistently
those are 2 I dont think should be considered as ‘Mid range’

I have five trading cards that drew signed for me at his house! Two of them he signed with a 22k gold pin. Two of them he told me would be good someday. He is friend of family and I was wondering if they had any worth. Thanks
Plus I have thousands of old trading cards and was wanting to know where do we take them for sale.
