Although it can be tough to stand out on a team filled with young talent, Draymond Green has made his name known despite playing alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Still early into his career, the Golden State Warriors' do-it-all forward is gaining traction in the hobby and Draymond Green rookie cards are seeing considerable interest.
Draymond Green played all four years of college eligibility with the Michigan State Spartans, a rarity in today's game. Despite being named the Big Ten Player of the Year and a unanimous All-Big Ten First-Team selection as a senior, Green slipped to the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. It now appears the Golden State Warriors found the steal of the draft as Green has continued to improve in each season.
After coming off the bench most of his first two seasons, Draymond Green earned a starting nod in his third season. Green finished the regular season as the runner-up for both Defensive Player of the Year and Most Improved Player. He stepped things up even more in the 2014-15 NBA Playoffs, averaging double-digits in both points and rebounds, and helped the Warriors reach the NBA Finals.
As a second-round pick, Draymond Green was left out of the first few NBA sets from the 2012-13 season, but still made his way into the bulk of the releases. Panini products are the only place to find Draymond Green rookie cards and the autographed options are his most popular.
