Alexander Ovechkin is one of the best players in the NHL. He also represents one of the stronger investment opportunities for hockey fans. Along with Sidney Crosby, Ovechkin's popularity with collectors has been on the rise since he started his professional career with the Washington Capitals in 2005. His fiercely competitive nature may polarize fans, but there's no denying his drawing power in the hockey world.

Alexander Ovechkin Key Signature Attributes: An authentic Alexander Ovechkin signature will exhibit several distinguishing characteristics. Regardless of the type of item or when it was signed, look for the following signature features:
- Only a couple of letters are distinguishable; "l" and "d" in Alexander
- The letter "l" is an over-sized, closed loop, coming off the start of the signature letter "a"
