Mike Stanton Baseball Card Guide and Rookie Card Checklist
2008 Playoff Contenders #109 Autograph #/149
Although his '08 Bowman Chrome Auto is far more attractive in appearance, the astonishingly low print run of 149 makes this the must Mike Stanton autograph of the moment. The one thing that holds this card back, as well as most Panini cards is the sticker Auto.
2008 Bowman Chrome Draft #BDPP115 Autograph
This is hands down the best looking card of the bunch. Another huge factor this card has on it's side is that it carries the distinction of being Stanton's "1st Bowman Chrome Card". Had I included refractors, the Bowman Chrome X-fractor, Blue Refractor, Gold Refractor, and Orange Refractor would have held the top 4 spots in this countdown.
2008 Prime Cuts #101 Autograph #/249
Really, the final three cards could have been placed in any order, it's really a matter of preference. I personally like the Prime Cuts the best out of the remaining. It is numbered lower than the Donruss Threads Auto and is part of the base set, unlike the Donruss Elite Auto.
2008 Donruss Threads #144 Autograph #/465
This is an underrated card in my opinion, it's sharp looking, numbered low, and I think it's under-booked. This is probably the best looking card of the bottom three.
2008 Donruss Elite Extra Edition Signature #74 Turn of the Century #/100
The Elite Extra Edition Auto would have ranked higher had it been part of the base set and not a "Turn of the Century" auto. I have never been a big fan of the "Turn of the Century Autos as they don't book very well and are misleading. It's unfortunate he didn't have a base Donruss Elite Auto.
