2016 McFarlane NBA 28 Sports Picks Figures

Picking up from the 27th basketball release, McFarlane NBA 28 Sports Picks Figures feature a superstar, several debuts and a few familiar names on new teams. Led by Steph Curry, the six-figure set also offers limited variants for most of the subjects.
Stephen Curry is the face of the NBA so it is not a shock that he is included with a new pose, joining another recent figure that was part of set that honored the 2015 title for the Golden State Warriors. While Kevin Love has previous figures from McFarlane, this marks his debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The rest of the figures make their overall McFarlane debut. This includes the third overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, Jahlil Okafor. Marc Gasol, the long-time center for the Memphis Grizzlies, and Jimmy Butler, the emerging star for the Chicago Bulls, also see their first figures. A star in a new location, LaMarcus Aldridge joins the ranks as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.
Of the six figures, four receive additional figures with a small difference - usually a jersey color - and limited print run. The Okafor variant is the rarest with his red uniform version limited to just 250 figures.
In addition to the base figure for Curry, collectors can also track down an exclusive variant with the alternate home jersey (yellow). These figures are only found in solid pack cases directly from GTS Distribution but don't feature a specific print run like the standard variants.
