20 Jaw-Dropping 2012 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hits

2012 Topps Triple Threads Baseball isn't for everyone. However, there's no denying some of the monstrous hits lurking in the product. Few sets offer more unique and high-end memorabilia and autograph combinations. Browsing on eBay is a lot like a kid sitting on the couch with the Sears Christmas catalog in their lap, flipping to the back to check out all the newest toys.

Not every card in 2012 Topps Triple Threads Baseball runs the risk of being destroyed by a puddle of drool. Like every high-end product, it's high risk, high reward. For every one-of-one jumbo patch, there are likely several less valuable basic autographs and relic cards.

That being said, those that land the big-time hits in the product are getting something special. From low-numbered multi-patch autographs to book cards with entire sleeve patches to cut signature memorabilia cards, the combinations are numerous.

With many of us sitting on the sidelines, here's a little harmless window shopping from some of the many 2012 Topps Triple Threads hits that have surfaced thus far.

All-Star Jersey Patch Book Cards

These three-panel book cards showcase an entire logo sleeve patch from a 2011 All-Star Game workout jersey. Each is, obviously, a one-of-one.

Ugly as sin. Glad I never bought this junk. A few great cards and a lot of stickered stinkers.

Way too many sticker autographs for a product at this price. That said I might buy a box just because I enjoy the gamble of possibly pulling something awesome.

I’m very rarely cynical when it comes to any product but TTT deserves it- this is one of the few products all year I didn’t touch (and I’m glad from what I’ve seen and heard). Granted, I’m not a fan of TTT as it is but this years’ design/product looked horrible.

Its ironic that the nicest cards from the year are all ‘non-TTT’ cards- similar but nicer patch cards etc could be found in Museum Collection and Tier One.

The ‘orignal’ TTT are commonly damaged, and just are plain tacky. There are so many ‘1/1s’ in this product its hard to keep track.

After the beautiful Museum Collection and the hopefully excellent Five Star this product is almost an insult at the price point.

Too bad the pack price is too high.
